It seems that the upcoming Balenciaga store in Soho is making some progress, albeit very slowly. The brand just opened a new Paris flagship on Rue Saint-Honoré, which WWD describes as a "'catalogue' of its key boutiques, each of which has a different color scheme and mood." Though it's not open yet, it includes a preview of the Mercer Street store, which will have "an emphasis on the color purple and floral carpets." Plus, pricey bags. [WWD]
