Online retailer Piperlime has just announced that it will be opening its first brick-and-mortar store in Soho at 121 Wooster Street. This won't be its first experiment with the neighborhood, though: During Fashion's Night Out in 2010, the company popped up on Mercer Street.
Piperlime's Jennifer Gosselin tells WWD that the store will focus on womenswear, as well as their "disproportionate love of shoes and accessories." As for specifics on the merchandise, that'll be a mix of established designers (like Milly, Frye, and Citizens of Humanity) and lesser-known brands, like Tinley Road and Ash. And if all goes well, there might be more stores on the way. Gosselin explains, "We will follow her [the customer’s] lead in that regard. We're always open to new things."
