This weekend marked the launch of The Shops at Target, the mega-brand's collaboration with specially-selected boutiques around the country. Instead of bringing in someone like Jason Wu to design a collection, the project recruits the owners of local stores—like Miami's The Webster, whose melon-hued, palm-tree-print creations you can see right here. The first round of shops didn't include any New York contenders, but Target has just announced that round two will feature Soho's Kirna Zabête, the Greene Street boutique known for stocking labels like 3.1 Phillip Lim, Celine, and Lanvin. Store owners Beth Buccini and Sarah Easley will work with Target on a women's collection of about 100 pieces, all priced between $9.99 and $199.99 and due out on September 9.
