Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
On May 30th at 8pm, Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center hosts the first-ever Clarins Million Meals Concert, a benefit for Lauren Bush Lauren's FEED Foundation. Performers include everyone from John Legend and Natasha Bedingfield to pianist and conductor Christoph Eschenbach. (Bill Clinton is slated to be there, too, though probably not in a musical capacity.)
The goal is to raise enough money to provide one million school meals, with tickets going for $150, $500, and $1000. Right now, the $150 level is completely sold out, but we've got a pair of tickets for one lucky reader. To win, look for the secret code in tonight's newsletter. The first person to email it to tips@racked.com will get the prize.
