Lululemon's Second Upper West Side Store Is Almost Here

Convinced that the Upper West Side needs more yoga pants, Lululemon is close to opening a store on 75th Street and Broadway, which is a pretty short distance from its other UWS store on Broadway and 64th Street. West Side Rag reports that a branded-plywood facade is up, along with Lululemon's thought that "Friends are More Important Than Money."

To Upper East Lululemon aficionados, this might feel pretty familiar. The brand has two stores in that neighborhood, too: One on Madison Avenue and 85th, and one on Third Avenue and 66th. Add that to the Soho, Union Square, and Lincoln Center stores, and that makes six in total when the new one opens. Or, another affirmation that gone are the days of wearing no-name sweats to the gym.
