Today's the last day of the invite-only Christian Louboutin sale, and reports from inside have started popping up on shopping blogs. The ladies of Wreak Havoc got themselves through the door the old-fashioned way: They asked politely (and said they were members of the press.) As for Sample Sally, she tagged along with someone named Larry the Label Whore who was shopping for his mother.
Both sites report long waits to get in followed by 20 allotted minutes of shopping time. Sally says the prices range from $100 to $500, with shoes mostly going for $250 and boots starting at $350. The selection is small for those with average-sized feet, though those under size 36 or over size 40 still have some good options. There's definitely some recycling going on, too. Recognize the technicolor dream boots in Wreak Havoc's post? We saw those at the Loub sale back in November 2010.
