There's been a topless woman wandering around the East Village for approximately two weeks now, according to EV Grieve. Yesterday, roving photographer Atisha Paulson happened to catch her in Union Square, where he conducted a Q&A with her about her ensemble. Here's the transcript he sent us, along with his photos.OK, so what's your name?
Moira Johnston.
Can you tell us a little bit about your outfit?
I'm going topless today. It's to raise awareness that's it's legal for woman to be topless anywhere a guy can be without a shirt since 1992 here in New York State.

Is this something you've done before?
Yeah, I've been going topless for a couple weeks now.
And what's the response in general?
I get a lot of support. Well, there's mixed reactions, because people aren't used to seeing it in our culture yet.
And the rest of your outfit, where did you get your skirt?
I got my skirt at a boutique in Philadelphia.
And your shoes?
Um, I'd rather not say.
And your glasses?
Kmart.
And how would you define your personal style?
I would say I'm kind of artsy and, um, apparently my outfit today also has roots in social activism.
