At first, it was the general impression that Betsey Johnson stores in New York might be safe from closing, but then, the Columbus Avenue store announced that it would indeed be shuttering. This afternoon, we called the Madison Avenue, Soho, and East 60th Street stores and found out that they're all closing, too.
Liquidation sales are happening out the wazoo, but it looks like they need to speed things up a bit. This weekend, the brand will host a separate liquidation sample sale at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in Times Square. The Shophound posted the flyer, which says that all accessories and apparel will be up to 80% off. See all the details here.
