Vena Cava, Saved!

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Vena Cava has faced some major financial struggles recently, but it sounds like their problems have been solved thanks to a new partnership with Hong Kong's Li & Fung Limited. Fashionista explains why the relationship works for both parties: "For Li & Fung, who also has agreements with Rachel Zoe, Sofia Vergara, Daisy Fuentes, Ellen Tracy and Keds Apparel, it gives them a label to attract more of that golden demographic, Gen-Y (ie 18-35-year-olds). For Mayock and Buhai, it gives them the resources to bring a lot of ideas to fruition, which they couldn’t do in the past due to financial limitations." [Fashionista]
