Wrap Yourself in Spring Colors at Bindya's Scarf Sale

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

You know spring is finally here when Bindya holds their bi-annual sample sale. This year, the sale begins today and runs through Friday, April 6. The weather couldn't be more perfect to enjoy pastel and multi-colored featherweight scarves and shawls at prices ranging from $10 to $50 (at discounts of 65% and more).

The sale is well-organized and consists of scarves from Fall/Winter 2011 and Spring 2012 in a mix of fabrics, from cashmere blends to light-weight wool, in the most glorious colors and patterns. Don't miss the $5 bin filled to the brim with scarves from seasons past—searching through it is well worth your time. Same goes for the $5 box of jewelled slippers. Most of the merchandise is out, but staffers do plan to restock a bit throughout the sale.

The scarves are well-displayed in a brightly lit showroom, and two large mirrors are available for try-ons. Something new to this year's sale is a section from Bindya's newly launched website ChicTweak, which features scarves from Echo, Chan Lu, Tolani, and others as well as accessories ranging from earrings to cuffs.—Pam Krywy
