The retail space at 400 Bedford Avenue at the corner of Broadway in Williamsburg is supposed to turn into a bar called Silko Sports Lounge. But right now, the windows are filled with Keds posters. A tipster sent in some images, noting that the there's a production crew in the area for The Good Wife, which might suggest the signs are part of the set design—but they look awfully official for backdrop. And a rep for Keds tells us that the sneaker brand doesn't plan on opening any retail locations.
In other words, this is probably just another case of confusing ad placement, not unlike the Lady Gaga Mystery Signage of 2011. If you're in the area looking for little plimsoll sneakers, your best bet is probably still Shoe Market.
