To Virgin Airlines, flying should be more than just trudging to check-in with fingers crossed that your luggage makes it there in one piece. So, they've recently added a spa to its Clubhouse at Kennedy Airport, where blowouts, massages, and manicures are all on the menu. The spa also provides facials for that ultimate pre-flight glow, and has its very own Bumble and Bumble salon.
Virgin's Beauty Coordinator Rebecca Creer tells the Times: "At J.F.K., all of our flights are at night. People want to go to sleep and feel refreshed in the morning when they wake up, so the spa offers services that are calming and sleep inducing, like back massages, radiant facials and hot stone massage." And to think that until now, your sleep-inducing flight routine merely consisted of a few bottles of airplane wine.
