It looks like the year's most hotly anticipated retail debut might just take place at 822 Madison Avenue. Construction workers at the spot, on Madison between 68th and 69th Street, confirmed that they're working on a space for Proenza Schouler. Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have been editors' favorites for nearly ten years now, but this will be their first stand-alone retail space. The store is in good company: down the block from Jil Sander and across the street from Dolce & Gabbana.
