Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
For the first time ever, the red carpet at this year's Costume Institute Gala will be coming to a computer near you. Attendee arrivals, celebrity interviews, and even a few pretaped segments on the benefit's history will be livestreamed on the Vogue, Amazon, and Met websites. It's all happening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on May 7th, so if you weren't invited to the gala as a designer's date, you can still see what everyone else is wearing in real time. [WWD]
