Victoria's Secret's Herald Square flagship will close at the end of May in preparation for its mega-makeover, according to Fashion Herald. But that doesn't mean 34th Street will have to suffer through a lack of affordable bras. The brand plans to open a shop on the first floor of the Manhattan Mall—which is interesting, because there's already a VS on the mall's second floor. It's possible that they'll streamline by closing that upstairs location, but they haven't commented yet either way.
When the flagship reopens, it's going to be nearly twice the current size, with an in-house catwalk for runway shows. In the meantime, just remember that the Manhattan Mall has you covered, and whatever you do, don't panic. Fashion Herald reports that she's constantly witnessing meltdowns outside the temporarily-closed Zara on the same block: "Seriously, daily I see women shaking and pounding on the locked door and peering through the dark glass."
