Tucked into the opening paragraph of WWD's analysis of the Madison Avenue retail scene is a mention that Sandro and Maje are "coming soon" to the strip. Most recently, the sister-owned stores announced plans for dual storefronts on Prince Street. Add that to their side-by-side locations on Bleecker Street, and there's solid proof that these two really can't go anywhere without each other.
Sandro's website lists the upcoming store at 986 Madison Avenue, though the Maje site has yet to mention a Madison Avenue store. There's no word on when all of this is happening, though we do know that the Sandro store will carry both men's and women's merchandise. In related neighborhood news, Monique Lhuillier will be opening on East 71st Street between Madison and Fifth Avenues this summer.
