Whether you need a bout of Botox or a quick lunchtime manicure, the Gotham Beauty Lounge would like to be your one-stop, go-to spot. The lounge is tucked inside the West Lobby of Bryant Park Place, a coop at
30 32 West 40th Street right alongside the park. Don't be fooled by its tiny nature, though: The nook of a salon is packed with a slew of Gotham Beauty Lounge's in-house products, which includes cleansers, toners, masks, lip glosses, foundations, eyebrow mascara, and more.
On top of that, the space also offers an entire menu of services. The Gotham Detoxifier Skincare Treatment ($40) includes an exclusive oxygen detoxifying mask, and for male clients, the Spa Man-E-Cure includes a paraffin hand treatment, nail shaping, a buff, and a matte finish ($55. As far as makeup application goes, there are a handful of options to choose from there, too.
The Gotham Glam service ($100) is for a night out, The Socialite ($120) is for an extra special night out, the Lady Gotham ($75) is for your day face, and the Manhattan Mineral ($90) is what you'd ask for if you're going for that "no makeup make up look." And then there's The Marquee ($120), an application that provides "flawless 'no editing needed' makeup, for success in show business."
Also on the menu: bang trims ($15), blowouts ($30 and up), eyebrow tweezing ($50), nail art ($10 a nail), and a CND Shellac polish application ($40). They also offer Happy Hour deals (mini treatments and makeup applications), but if you'd prefer the whole shebang, you can book the lounge for your own private event—whether that be for your birthday or bridal shower. In addition to supplying the beauty stuff, they'll also "arrange food, entertainment and custom gifts."
