Jil Sander's bi-annual sample sale kicks off tomorrow and lasts through Saturday. This time around, there's a fashion-history angle. Designer Raf Simons left the label earlier this year, and just this month he was named artistic director at Dior. Buy a dress or a jacket this week, and in three years you'll be able to airily tell people, "Oh this? This is from when Raf was still at Jil."

There is, however, one small snag: Technically, the sale is invite-only. In the past, though, civilians without invitations haven't had trouble getting in. And the sale's length—five whole days—suggests that it's not just for VIPs. After all, that's a long time to try to keep anything a secret, especially when the crowds outside the sale usually look something like this. Head to the Dealfeed for hours and location, or head this way for the report from last time around.
