New York politicians are citing the Mexican Walmart scandal as another reason the chain shouldn't set up shop here. Over the weekend, the New York Times revealed that Wal-Mart de Mexico bribed local officials to speed along the company's growth. Public Advocate Bill de Blasio told the Post that New York “cannot open its doors to a company that sanctions bribery.” [NYP; NYT]
