For the first time ever, Henri Bendel is transforming a portion of their store into a Beach Bar pop-up to get shoppers ready for some fun in the sun. From now until the end of June, a section of the second floor will be a one-stop shop for all your summer needs.
The little oasis is stocked with coconut scented candles, waterproof digital cameras, wide brimmed hats, straw beach bags, barely-there bikinis, and breezy cover-ups. And the list doesn't stop there: Tubes of sunscreen, neon water bottles, mini speakers, Frederic Fekkai products, Ray-Ban Clubmasters, flip-flops, and beaded jewelry are also there to get you feeling beachy keen. Heck, they even thought to set up St. Tropez-inspired cabanas tucked away in the corner for try-ons.
In addition to that, the Bendel's brand has designed a $78 terry tote that converts into a towel (in its traditional brown-and-white stripes, of course), a $68 set of neoprene-lined cases to protect your MacBook and smartphone, and a $38 bag made especially for your wet bathing suit.
Though summer doesn't officially start until June 20th, you might want to head over this weekend, because the new pop-up also coincides with the store's Friends and Family sale, which will offer 20% off purchases of $100 or more. While there, be on the lookout for the Fire Island Totes that are filled with goodies selected by the People StyleWatch gang. It all can be yours by entering to win on the Bendel's Facebook page—as if you needed another reason to stop by.—Anne Ebani
