The Salvation Army on Bedford Avenue has long been the cause of speculation. A few years ago, there was a rumor that an Apple store would be moving in. A few years later, someone filed a permit to build a two-story store on the sight, and the architects lined up for the project had worked with the Salvation Army before. Today, we find out that it's just going to be another Salvation Army. Brownstoner confirms that the current location "will be replaced with a new and improved Salvation Army Thrift store."
