While everyone else was lined up at Jimmy Choo yesterday, Sample Sally stopped by the D&G sample sale to see what was there. She reports: "Unlike the chaos at Choo, the atmosphere was chill at the D&G sample sale in the MePa. The pickings were random—pieces from past seasons." She adds that the pricing was "so-so," and that you really had to dig to find something worth leaving with.
She found the best deals on dresses, which are marked down to $99, but says that the good ones are few and far between. Jackets are marked down to $129, pants, skirts, and tops are $69, tees are $59, and swimsuits are $29. The organizers informed her that they won't be restocking, but that the prices will most likely be reduced further on the last day of the sale, which is Sunday. After all, it doesn't make much sense for them to keep the items around, since back in September, the brand announced that they'd be folding D&G into the Dolce&Gabbana brand.
