Luxury bedding company Ankasa has just opened up a Soho flagship at 424 Broome Street. The brand, known for its hand-embroidered pillows that retail roughly between $200 and $500, also has a location on Madison Avenue. The new Soho spot will include a "significant expansion" in Ankasa's furniture, accessories, and home decor products, along with a dedicated private design lounge.
The store will also feature a custom pillow bar, where customers can go through Ankasa's archives and recolor the base cloth, thread work, and additional details like sequins and leather to create one that's one-of-a-kind. If whipping up a bespoke pillow on your own sounds intimidating, or if you need an extra hand sorting through the dinner plates, the store will also offer interior design and styling services.
