Armani's three-step Madison Avenue expansion plan is officially underway. The newly-renovated Giorgio Armani is now open, and today, the Post reports that the company has signed a lease for an Armani Junior at 1223 Madison Avenue at 88th Street. Most recently, the location was home to Boutique Mirabelle, who moved out at the end of January to another spot a few blocks up.
Currently, the kid's line is sold at the Armani/Fifth Avenue store, which also houses just about every other Armani offering you could ever want. Now, the label will have 1,480 square feet to spread out, with plenty of space for its Lovely Princess and Girly Denim collections.
