Luxury beauty products and spa retail chain Bluemercury has officially opened its doors in Union Square at 865 Broadway, making this the company's third location in Manhattan and its first downtown—the other two stores are perched on the Upper West and Upper East Side. The new store houses a Jo Malone boutique, and carries beauty favorites like Acqua di Parma, Diptyque, and La Mer.
Bluemercury founder Mara Malcolm Beck is quite pleased with the location: "This is a neighborhood where New Yorkers really live and hang out, not just shop. Between the farmer's market, ABC Carpet & Home, Paragon, the yoga studio and the fabulous restaurants, this is one of the most energetic neighborhoods in the city." Considering all that hustle and bustle, adding another spa seems to make sense.
