Now that its Nolita store is up and running, Haute Hippie has turned its attention uptown. The brand's second NYC store opens this Friday on Madison Avenue at 81st Street with merchandise from both the Hippie and Haute Hoodie lines.
Like the store on Prince Street, the new shop has a sort of glittery-cowpoke vibe, with rhinestone longhorns on the walls and cowhide rugs on the floor. What makes this shop different from the one on Prince Street is the selection, which targets an Upper East Side audience with embellished silk dresses, sequined mini skirts, and studded bags.
