According to the WSJ today, male UGG fans haven't had it easy lately. An article reports: "UGG's line of women's boots with its trademark fluffy sheepskin lining has long overshadowed the company's footwear and clothing for men." To correct that, the company has decided to open a men's-only store on Madison Avenue, in an effort to "make men feel more comfortable" while waiting in line for wooly boots.

The store is scheduled to open up in the summer, and will conveniently be located right across the street from the brand's current flagship at Madison Avenue and 58th Street. As a bonus, the original store will be getting an expansion while construction on the men's location begins. In the meantime, the WSJ reminds that there are plenty of other things for "well-heeled tourists" to peruse nearby: That would be Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, and Prada, of course.
