Were you wondering where all the cool kids in the city disappeared to around 3pm today? They were forming a pretty respectable line outside the Creatures Of Comfort sale. But with up to 95% off labels like VPL, Acne, Isabel Marant, and Rachel Comey, no one can really blame them.
Before the crowds were let loose, the clothes were probably arranged according to label. Some of that order remained with Acne first on the right, followed by Christian Wijnants, Wren, and United Bamboo, plus the house label taking up the rear. Isabel Marant, Rachel Comey, VPL, and Opening Ceremony lined the back wall of racks and MM6, Prada, Phillip Lim 3.1, Zero + Maria Cornejo, Mary Ping, and Zucca, among others, were sprinkled throughout. And the prices were crazy good—like, under $150 good.
Guys, sorry to say it, but there's not much for you. One rack on the left wall holds your stuff and it's mostly A.P.C winter jackets and a few button-downs.
Down the middle runs tables of shoes with ladies on top, dudes on the bottom. At least for women, the shoe sizes are running pretty huge—like 9 and up— primarily, but the prices are great. On the far left, you'll find bins full of basics including long sleeve shirts for $40, "mini striped" shirts for $25, and tanks and tees for $25. The one mirror in the place was wedged between the shoe table and the accessories bins, which made it nearly impossible to access them. We saw belts from afar, though. Lots of belts.
Maybe you'll have better luck with that when you stop by anytime between now and Sunday. Tonight it's open until 8pm and tomorrow and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
