This summer, Saturdays Surf mentioned that they were scouting new locations in the West Village and Tokyo, and today, WWD confirms that both are happening. The Tokyo location will open on Friday, and the West Village location will debut in May or June on Perry Street and Waverly Place.
Josh Rosen, one of the Saturdays Surf owners along with Morgan Collett and Colin Tunstall, says, "There's a wonderful residential feeling over there, and it's the ideal neighborhood for us." Though there are no details just yet on what the West Village store will include, we know the Tokyo store has been inspired by the brand's original location. Similar to the Crosby Street store, the Tokyo outpost will also have an outdoor hangout area as well as an espresso bar, which we imagine the West Village spot will consider replicating, too.
