Since last year's Fashion Girls for Japan sale raised a whopping $270,000 for tsunami relief, the organizers have decided to do it again this year. Many of the same designers have hopped on board again, so expect to see more donated goods from Alexander Wang, Altuzarra, Derek Lam, Thakoon, VPL, and a ton more.
To refresh, over 60 brands will be a part of the sale, and there will be over 60 rolling racks full of merchandise at up to 50% off retail. And good news for the boys this go-around: The sale has been expanded to include menswear. It all begins on Saturday, March 31st and will run through Sunday, April 1st, at the Bowery Terrace at the Bowery Hotel. A general admission ticket costs only $5, and of course, 100% of all the proceeds from the sale will go toward Japan's ongoing recovery efforts.
Update: Sorry, Altuzarra die-hards. Turns out there won't be anything for sale from that label after all.
