The iPad 3 comes out tomorrow, and as expected, there's already a line outside of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue. We spoke with one man in line this morning who said that he had been there since "around 12 on Monday," to which the woman next to him added, "It's Thursday." She, on the other hand, has only been there since Wednesday, which is slightly less impressive. However, she does have her dog, Bella, with her, who is wearing a pink and gray doggie jacket.
We popped by the temporary store in Soho this morning, and as of 10am it had no line, despite the fact that they will also be carrying it, along with Apple's other locations in Meatpacking, the Upper West Side, and Grand Central. Getting your hands on one, however, is of course another story, as one staffer told us that they'll have limited amounts that haven't already been preordered. For a look at what some Apple lines have looked like in the past, head here, here, and here.
