This week, Shopping Confidential morphs into Bodega Confidential, in which some beloved local designers tell us about their favorite convenience stores around the city.

CFDA_winner Chris Benz is known for his tailoring and his innovative use of color. In New York, he's stocked at Saks as well as highbrow boutiques like Patron of the New, and A Man and a Woman. He says that his bodega is filled with fashion insiders:

My go-to bodega has always been L&M Delicatessen at West 15th and Seventh Avenue. They literally have everything, and their iced coffee (which I drink all year round) is the best. The funny thing is that a lot of editors and stylists live in the neighborhood as well, and often times it becomes a little fashion recap at the front counter!
