Shop Dannijo for a Good Cause; See the Kaiser's Apartment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

TRIBECA—Jewelry label Dannijo is run by a pair of sisters, Danielle and Jodie Snyder, but the two are so busy that sometimes it seems like there must be more of them. This Thursday, join the Snyder sisters at Otte for a shopping event to celebrate their collection for Falling Whistles, a non-profit trying to bring peace to the Congo. Along with the chain-draped whistles, you'll be able to browse Otte's regular stock at 15% off. Five percent of all purchases goes to the cause, and the party runs 5pm to 8pm tomorrow, March 15. GRAMERCY—OK, so Karl Lagerfeld didn't actually spend too much time in the apartment that he's now trying to sell for $5.2 million. Still, aren't you curious about what it looks like? Good thing Curbed has the photos. [Curbed NY]
