PARK SLOPE—If you haven't seen it already, Reuters editor Chadwick Matlin's live-tweeting of Tuesday night's Park Slope Food Coop members meeting is very much worth a read. There's talk of the coop boycotting Israeli products, but that won't get decided until next month's meeting. Still, even without hot-button hummus on the agenda, the group managed to work itself into a heated discussion of plastic produce bags. [The Awl]

UNION SQUARE—Important update for SoulCycle die-hards: President Obama will not, we repeat not, get in the way of classes when he has dinner today at ABC Kitchen. The E. 18th Street location sent out an email blast this afternoon letting everyone know that a little presidential visit won't put the kibosh on anyone's spinning. [RackedWire]
