New York City has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around our fantastic city that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

You might recognize Simon Huck's face due to his countless cameos alongside Kim Kardashian on both Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kim and Kourtney Take New York. As co-founder of Command PR, Huck spends his days managing his roster of clients, which means he's had a very busy year. When he isn't diffusing rumors by the hour, he manages to squeeze in a visit to High Style Deco in Chelsea.

I discovered High Style Deco on West 18th Street two weeks after moving into my new Chelsea apartment. I noticed a pair of show-stopping ebonized lounge chairs in the window display and the rest is credit card history. All of their Art Deco pieces are perfectly restored and originate from all over the world and unlike some other home décor establishments, the staff at High Style Deco are both very friendly and knowledgeable. Collectively, they helped a furniture newbie like myself understand the history behind what I was buying.
