Karl by Karl Lagerfeld Returns to Bleecker Street Tomorrow

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Last month, Karl Lagerfeld launched his Karl line with a Net-a-Porter online exclusive and a West Village pop-up shop. The physical store debuted with a confusing clothing-free event, and once the merchandise arrived, shoppers rapidly cleaned it out. Some big Karl fans probably never even got a chance to shop—which is why they should be very excited about what's happening tomorrow, when the Karl spring/summer collection arrives for a long-term stint at the space.

The range runs from $69 to $600 and looks very Lagerfeld, with lots of metallic details and a black and white color palette. It shows up at 375 Bleecker tomorrow at 11am, but if you stop by between 5pm and 8pm you can browse with a free glass of champagne in your non-shopping hand. (You'll also get a free limited-edition tote bag if you're one of the first 25 to arrive at the party.) Even if you can't make it tomorrow, though, there's plenty of Karl to go around: Organizers plan to keep the store open through August 2012 and bring in new clothing every few weeks.
