Katherine Hooker Brings Spring Jackets and Dresses to Soho

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

British designer Katherine Hooker specializes in outerwear, but you can't wear coats all year long (thank goodness), so her spring/summer 2012 collection is full of floaty but professional little dresses like the Massey, above. It might seem early to think about Summer Fridays, but Hooker is popping up in Soho this weekend with a broad range of styles in US sizes four through 12.

This is her second NYC pop-up, but expect new stock: She's never offered dresses anywhere else in the country before. The shop kicks off this Saturday, March 3rd and lasts through Sunday, March 11th. Weekday hours are 11am to 8pm, while weekends run 10am to 70m.
