Don't ask Manolo Blahnik about that collaboration for J.Crew. The designer says he had no idea it was going to happen, although he did recently send the brand 45 pairs of shoes. Just because Manolo himself is out of the loop, though, doesn't mean the partnership isn't going forward. Expect a line of Blahnik shoes to appear in J.Crew stores this fall for about $600 a pair.
