Cobble Hill's Smith + Butler has a history of cool third-party partnerships. The Shiny Squirrel opened a jewelry mart there back in November, Save Khaki took over their back room in April, and way back in 2009, they briefly moved into Moscot on the Lower East Side. Their latest pop-up, though, might be the biggest name yet. Starting today, Levi's Made & Crafted opened up a 250-square-foot space within the store.
Made & Crafted is the denim brand's history-obsessed premium line. The spring 2012 collection is inspired by Levi's catalogs from the late '60s, as well as the west coat prep sported by Steve McQueen and Jacqueline Bisset in the 1968 police drama Bullitt. It should fit in well at Smith + Butler, which also carries clothing for men and women with an Americana focus. Look for it all spring long; the pop-up doesn't pop back down until summer 2012.
