A.P.C.'s Latest West Village Store Opened About an Hour Ago

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Less than a week ago, when these photos were taken, construction workers were busy installing shelves in the new A.P.C. location at W.4th and Perry and the space still wore a large "Work in Progress" sign. But when we called to check the progress just now, a friendly staffer told us the shop opened around 2pm today. Unlike its sibling at 92 Perry, which opened last Fashion Week and carries overstock and novelty goods, the new store has the current collection. Stop by before 7pm tonight to get in on the first-day action.
