Given that it's 60 degrees outside, Madison Avenue Spy stopped by the T.J. Maxx on 59th Street and First Avenue to see what's arrived for spring. She reports that the stores have just received new shipments, which include "lot of great basics" and things not so basic (such as a Versace white linen bustier dress for $500). Over in The Runway area, she spotted a variety of Helmut Lang dresses for $79 (from $150), a Marc by Marc embroidered dress for $300, and "back-plunging" M Missoni dress for $250.
As far as accessories go, she spotted a few Givenchy bags priced between $700 to $1,000, a Dolce and Gabbana tote for $600, and a slouchy Céline bag and a few Jimmy Choos for $800. If you're looking to spend less than that, she adds that many of the separate clearance racks are on final markdown. This means there are $44 M Missoni and Versace pants, and Opening Ceremony pants and blazers for as low as 34 bucks. One final word: Though there was plenty to be had at the 59th Street store, Madison Avenue Spy adds that the shipments at the West 57th Street store are perhaps even better.
