Yesterday afternoon, we headed to a preview for today's Made Her Think sample sale at 195 Chrystie Street. Once inside, you'll find that the intimate showroom is stocked with luxe and edgy samples that are priced to move at up to 80% off. Some pieces even start as low as $5.
Some of the highlights for rings include the Double Band Chain, Jaws of Life, and, Chevron Tunnel rings. There were also plenty of Talon Knickle Buster rings in various materials. Looking for earrings? We also spotted the Tear Tusk Posts in oxidized sterling silver.
Prices generally increase from left to right in the showroom, and the glass cases against the right wall display pieces of various price points in silver, matte gunmetal, gold, and rose gold. As far as how much you can expect to spend, it wouldn't be too hard to leave without doing more than $100 worth of damage (if that's your goal, that is). A large selection of rings are just $20, and pendant-style necklaces are going for $85. Pricier options include pieces like the Smashed Talon Necklace for $250 (originally $920).
On a shelf at the back of the showroom is a small selection of bag samples, priced at $150 for leather satchels with metallic link accents.
The sale closes tonight at 7pm and runs through Saturday. The ring sizes range from size 5 through 8, but since there aren't as many options for the larger sizes, we recommend stopping by the showroom sooner rather than later. For additional information, see the dealfeed below.—Naomi Collett Ritz
Update: The sale will now also take place on Tuesday, December 11th from 9am to 6pm. We've been told prices have been cut and there's lots of merchandise left.
