The Etsy Holiday Shop in Soho opened last week, and by the looks of things so far, it's a lot more than just the online marketplace IRL. Rather than haphazardly hauling in tons of merchandise from the depths of its deep user base, Etsy enlisted a wide range of curators to help pick the goods. That roster includes some easy choices, like Martha Stewart and Tavi Gevinson, along with jewelry designer Waris Ahluwalia, NPR contributor Starlee Kine, and Advanced Style superstar Ilona Smithkin.
In addition to the shopping component, the pop-up will also host special events through its December 8th departure date, like musical performances, jewelry making demos, and workshops on blogging. If all that has left you in a perpetual state of sensory overload, Etsy Gift Guide Experts will be on hand at the shop to help you get through your list.
