This morning, The Cut posted a 21-photo slideshow of the Brooklynettes: the dance group—not cheerleaders—for the Nets. Among other factoids, we learned that the women all get done up locally: "Even though only four members of the team actually live in Brooklyn, the franchise is meticulous about incorporating local businesses. All of the dancers' cosmetics are supplied by the Brooklyn-based City Chemist." Additionally, their hair is dyed and styled at the Heights Salon in Brooklyn Heights. [The Cut]
