The very first H.W. Carter & Sons General Store will open in Williamsburg this Thursday, which means that the neighborhood will never be in short supply of carpenter pants, overalls, or American workwear ever again. In addition to carrying the H.W Carter & Sons line, the shop will also carry a hefty roster of outside vendors.
Inside the shop, you'll find menswear, shoes, and accessories from brands like Engineered Garments, Gitman Vintage, Mark McNairy, Red Wing, Saint James, Stone Island, TK Garmet Supply, and a ton of others. You'll also find a bicycle, an ornate old-timey cash register, and plenty of vintage chairs and fixtures.
