For this week's Critical Shopper, Jon Caramanica stopped by Superdry in Times Square, one week after Hurricane Sandy hit. He describes his experience in the fitting room: "This was an unlikely place for an epiphany, but the small acts of self-care associated with dressing and undressing and dressing oneself began to break through a week's emotional clutter, days of impossible-to-connect phone calls and televised news reports of devastation and feelings of selfish relief. Sometimes it's O.K. to look after yourself." [NYT]
