The Pixie Market sample sale opened at noon today, and considering 1.) the size of the store and 2.) the depths of the discounts, it got crowded pretty quickly. Just like last year, nothing is marked over $40, and just about all of the pricing is conveniently color-coded.
The sale includes merchandise from Cheap Monday, Mink Pink, Jeffrey Campbell, Funktional, House of Balfour, and more. Some of the best finds we spotted were the short- and long-sleeved sweaters, though those were going fast this afternoon. Other highlights include the silk floral shirts, and one leather peplum top for $30.
As for bottoms, we found a selection of lightweight cotton pants, some in velvet, and a harem alternative if you're still into that trend. Personally, our favorite was a $30 tweed pair from Funktional. As for the dresses, we enjoyed two springy options from House of Balfour and Time after Time: a paisley number for $30, and a navy and floral sleeveless frock for $20, respectively.
The sale also included a decent selection of shoes, like brown leather lace-up booties, mesh flats, two-tone wedges, ankle boots, and even sandals. The accessories offerings included thin belts, knee high socks, legwarmers, and a section of jewelry and sunglasses. However, these are all individually priced, unlike the clothing.
Just a reminder that the sale is cash only, so make it a point to hit up an ATM beforehand. The sale runs through Sunday at 8pm, but since everything is priced to go, we don't recommend dragging your feet to get there.
