New York City has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around our fantastic city that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Sean Barron is a veteran of the fashion industry, having founded brands like Katayone Adeli, Joie, Aiko, and Jeunesse. He also recently launched a brand new women's denim label called A.N.D. (A New Denim), which uses an exclusive no-water fabric process. Here, he shows us where he goes to ensure that his showroom is always looking—and smelling—great.
I absolutely love Ovando, and it's by far the coolest flower shop I have ever seen. First, the smell when you walk in is amazing. The flowers there are extremely creative and the florists are able to interpret your ideas into the most beautiful arrangements and pinpoint exactly what you are looking for. Their creations are never over-the-top, but they're always modern. The added bonus is that the candles are amazing, and we always have the burning in our showroom.
