When the Brooklyn Flea settles back into its winter home at Skylight One Hanson, it will do so with its annual Gifted Holiday Market. For the five weekends leading up to Christmas, the market will specialize in vintage and handmade gifts, and will stay open an extra hour (until 7pm) on Saturdays and Sundays.
The market will include over 100 vendors, occupying three floors. In addition to the gifts (which include everything from animal-motif pots to stove-top cutting boards), there will also be handprinted and letterpress cards from Cowboy Confessions, Foxy & Winston, and Love Jac. And there are multiple ways to give: The flea's efforts to support the Brooklyn Recovery Fund will continue through the winter, and donations to help the vendors affected by Hurricane Sandy are still more than welcome.
