Tommy Bahama had planned to celebrate its new Fifth Avenue flagship next week, but they've just cancelled the opening party because of Hurricane Sandy. Without breaking character, the company stated in an email: "Being synonymous with relaxation, Tommy Bahama understands that even the greatest city in the world needs a little time to herself right now—a bit more than the famed 'New York Minute.'" Whether or not the store will still open on November 17th is still up in the air. [WWD]
